Dr. Naresh Nalajala
Dr. Naresh Nalajala completed his masters in science with specialization Physics from Andhra University college, Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh and another masters in technology with specialization Materials Science from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirapalli, Tamilanadu. Soon after he joined The academy to pursue his doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Manoj Neergat, Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay and Prof. Bradley Ladewig, Department of Chemical Engineering, Monash University. His thesis work entitled “Synthesis of shape-controlled palladium nanoparticles and their platinum-coated counterparts - the importance of the exposed facets and surfactant removal on the electrochemical characteristics” deal with facet engineering of nanocrystals for energy-conversion applications. Currently, he is working with Dr. C. S. Gopinath, senior principle scientist, catalysis division, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory Pune, Maharastra as a postdoctoral fellow with the aim at the design of novel nanoarchitectures for ambient temperature CO oxidation reaction.
Besides, Dr. Naresh is interested about in enhance the green with his mission platform “One student one tree – a green revolution”. He is passion about learn and practice zero-budget agriculture farming (inspired by Padmashri Dr. Subhas Palekhar, A natural agriculture farming scientist) at his agriculture land with the aim of providing pesticide-free agriculture products (rice, vegetables etc.) for the society.
Dr. Naresh is always sincerely thankful to the academy for providing an ideal platform to pursue his research interests and that paves him to accomplish his research objectives in the field of nanoscience and technology with the support from his supervisors.
