The IITB-Monash Research Academy, based in Mumbai, India is an exciting partnership between the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Monash University – two of the world's leading educational and research institutions. Together IITB and Monash are taking a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary research that can effectively deliver high impact, integrated solutions to complex research problems for industry, government and the broader research community.
IITB-Monash Research Academy opening date announced
The IITB-Monash Research Academy is proud to announce that The Academy will be formally opened on November 26, 2008. This will involve the laying of the foundation stone for the new Academy building. The Academy will have its own purpose-built, modern, contemporary building on the IITB campus.
Following the formal opening The Academy plans to conduct the inaugural Australia-India Thematic Research Symposium. This will be conducted in Mumbai (venue to be announced shortly) from 27 November 2008 to 29 November, 2008. The Symposium will be conducted on Large-Scale Advanced Computational Modelling (27 November 2008) and Biotechnology and Stem Cells on (28 November 2008). This will be followed by The Academy's Industry Day on Saturday 29 November 2008.
