I completed my B.Sc-Physics from IGNOU, New Delhi and masters in Physics from Dept. of Physics, University of Pune, Pune, India with specialization in Lasers in December-2015. I carried out my masters project on Synthesis and Characterization of TiO2 Nanoparticles by Sol-Gel Method and Pulsed Laser Ablation in Liquid. I also worked on a short-term project in nanoscience dealing with “Radial growth of silver nanowires on colloidal template of silica” at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, India under the supervision of Dr. Sulabha Kulkarni. My research interest is in lasers, nanomaterials, metamaterials, smart materials, photonics. I will be joining the IITB-Monash Research Academy to work on the project, “Patterning of Photoresponsive Smart Materials” under the guidance of Prof. Shobha Shukla(IITB) and Prof. Rico Tabor(Monash University). Apart from academic work, I love to spend time on reading and enjoying instrumental trance music. My major reading interests are cosmology, particle physics, technological developments in different areas of science, metaphysics, theories on existence. I love to travel to natural and pristine locations.
