Chitaranjan completed his MSc Engineering in ‘Energy and Power Systems’ from the University of Liverpool, UK in 2013. He also holds a B.Tech. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, India. His research interest lies in the area of distributed renewable generations and its integration to the power system networks. His MSc thesis focuses on the intelligent use of energy storage devices for a better control of microgrids. After his MSc, he had also worked as a research fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India on project topic ‘Smart Multi-Terminal DC microgrids for autonomous Zero-Net Energy Buildings’. Chitaranjan is also a recipient of the British Council’s Jubilee Scholarship which provided a full funding for his masters study. His hobbies include photography, cooking and travelling.
