Mr. Manas Ranjan Panda has completed his Bachelor of Science with Physics as Honours from Utkal University, Odisha and Master of Science in Physics from Pondicherry University, Pondicherry with a specialization in Condensed Matter Physics in 2013. As a part of M.Sc Project he has worked on the topic “Investigations on Structural and Electrical Properties of Li2MSiO4 (M=Mg, Ni)” under the supervision of Prof. G Govindraj. Mr. Panda has successfully completed the projects titled “Study of Reaction Kinetics of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Synthesis using X-ray Absorption Near Edge Spectroscopy and X-ray Diffraction” under the guidance of Dr. A K Sinha at RRCAT, Indore and “Study of the
correlation between Structural and Magnetic Heterogeneity and Semiconductivity in Co rich region of Fe3-xCoxO4 Spinel ferrites” under the guidance of Dr. R. N. Bhowmik at Pondicherry University, Pondicherry with the financial support from University Grants Commission, India. He has been a part of four international conferences by presenting his research works as oral presentations in three and with a poster in the other. Also, He has four journal publications. As some extra-curricular activities he has been involved in NCC, NSS and has organised many Blood Donation Camps. He loves to work for the welfare of society. At present, he is a Research Scholar at IITB-Monash Research Academy and is working on a project titled “Advanced Electrode Materials by 2D Layered Materials Exfoliation”, under the guidance of Prof. Sagar Mitra (IIT Bombay) and Prof. Yu Lin Zhong (Monash University). He owes all his success to the ALMIGHTY, his parents, teachers and friends whose endless sacrifice has made his journey of life a meaningful one.
