Manasi Prashant Kane

Manasi graduated from BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus in 2016 with a B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering and an MSc. in Biological Sciences under the dual degree scheme. As a part of her thesis at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne she developed a computational model of the cervical spinal cord of the Rhesus Macaques as a test base for electrical epidural spinal cord stimulation. At the IITB-Monash Research Academy, she will be working on the project ‘Wearable electrophysiological sensing devices for health monitoring’ under the supervision of Prof. Wenlong Cheng (Monash University) and Prof. Dipti Gupta (IIT Bombay). Her interests include reading, dancing, history, photography and listening to music.
