Mohammad Khan completed Masters in Chemical Plant Design from NITK, Surathkal and B.Tech in Chemical Engg. from Amravati University. He has completed his Masters project at IIT Bombay with Prof. S. M. Mahajani (Chem. Engg. Dept ) on Technology Dissemination and Propagation in Jaggery Making . The project is awarded with Dr. P. K. Patwardhan Award and the technology is transferred to the industry for scale up and usage. At IITB-Monash Research Academy, he is working on industrial project from SABIC on “Development of New Heterogeneous Catalyst for Selective Production of Propanediol from Glycerol” under the supervision of Prof. A.K. Suresh, Prof. Sanjay Mahajani and Prof. Santosh J Gharpure (IIT Bombay) and Prof. Huanting Wang (Monash University). He is workaholic but apart from academics he likes to spend time in workout at gym and outdoor sports.
