Pragati completed her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Presidency College Calcutta in 2013 and Master’s in Sociology from Presidency University Calcutta in 2015. She qualified UGC NET December 2014 slot while she was pursuing her Post graduation. Recently her article named “Eunuchs, Women and Religion” was published in one of the International Multidisciplinary Research Journal. Her research interests include Gender Studies, Kinship and Anthropology of Religion. Pragati has joined the Joint PhD program at IITB-Monash Research Academy to work on the project “Exploring Gender and Ethnic Dimensions of Malnutrition”. She will be working with Prof. D. Parthasarathy (IITB), Prof. Dharma Arunachalam (Monash University) and Prof. Swati Parashar (Monash University) during her PhD research.
Her hobbies include cooking and playing badminton.
