Sreenidhi completed her Masters in Marine Geophysics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala, in 2016 with University first rank and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from MES Ponnani college, Kerala, (affiliated to University of Calicut). She has undergone her master’s dissertation on ‘Crustal Thickness Estimation of Indian Ocean Ridges around Rodriguez Triple Junction using RMBA and Direct Inversion’ at National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research, Goa under the guidance of Dr. John Kurian P. She has qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2016 in Geophysics during her Masters. She has also participated in several National Seminars, Symposia etc. Immediately after Masters, she has joined Ph.D. Program full steam ahead at IITB-Monash Research academy. At the academy , she is working on the project entitled ‘A Thermo-mechanical Study of the southern Red Sea – Afar Triple Junction region: Implications on the Rift Evolution ‘ (IMURA0484 (5)) under the supervision of Prof. M Radhakrishna (IITB) and Prof. Peter Betts (Monash).
