Supriya Pratibanda has completed Masters in Nano Science and Technology from University of Hyderabad in 2015. Her thesis work has been devoted to “Mechanical Behaviour of nanocrystalline Nickel-Cobalt prepared from Electrodeposition and High Energy Ball Milling”. She has consistently performed well in her studies right from childhood maintaining distinction throughout. She completed her B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) from JNTUK, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh in 2013. Her B.Tech project work titled, “The Influence of Distractions on Driver Response Time: An ERP Pilot Study” resulted in a paper at an International conference on Biomedical Sciences Instrumentation, USA. She has now joined IITB Monash Research Academy for her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Krishna Jonnalagadda (IIT Bombay) and Prof. Raafat Ibrahim (Monash University). Her research topic is “Mechanics of Thin Film Coatings at High Temperatures”.
