Tushar Gupta
Tushar Gupta completed his B. Tech. in Mining Engineering from IIT BHU (Varanasi). During his course of studies and as a part of final year project, he has worked on Geophysical modelling for stability analysis of dump slopes in open cast mines, for which he has also published a paper in Springer’s international journal. After graduation he has been working in underground mines of Coal India Limited reaching post of Assistant Manager in mining. Due to his interest in research and mining related experience, he applied to PhD programme of IITB-Monash academy where he got selected for project on topic “Fly ash utilisation in haul road design in open cast mines, a geo-environmental and hydro-geological investigation”. He will be working in guidance of Prof. T. N. Singh from IITB and Dr. Mohan Yellishetty from Monash University. His hobbies include Cooking, Playing music, Reading spiritual books, and electronic gadgets.
