Vivek Garg
Vivek completed his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering Roorkee in 2011. He joined Mechanical Engineering at IIT Bombay after achieving an All India Rank 7 in GATE- 2011 (Production & Industrial Engineering) for his M.Tech. He worked as Department PG Sports Nominee and bagged several awards like Best Office Bearer, Department Sports Special Mention etc. during his tenure at IIT Bombay. He also authored a paper in International conference on Laser Micromachining. He has wide experience of industry & teaching to his credit, he worked as Engineer for Lafarge in Middle East and later on as Senior Assistant professor at Quantum Global Campus, Roorkee, a prestigious college in Uttrakhand. He joined PhD at IITB-Monash Research Academy due to his interests in teaching and research field. He will be working on ‘Focused Ion Beam (FIB) Fabrication of Novel 2D/3D Nanoscale Structures: Process Modeling and Applications’ under the guidance of Prof. Rakesh G. Mote (IIT Bombay) and Prof. Jing Fu (Monash University). His interests include playing games and travelling new places.
