Aditya Gupta
Aditya Gupta has completed his B.Tech, Civil Engineering in 2013 from SRM University (Chennai) with 9.12 CGPA. He has secured 97.45 percentile in Graduate Aptitude Test in engineering (GATE 2013), and pursued his M.Tech in Hydraulic Engineering from IIT Roorkee. He completed his thesis “Modelling of Sediment Transportation in a reach of Gandak River” under the supervision of Dr. Nayan Sharma and Dr. Ajay Gairola, sponsored by Bihar Pul Nirman Nigam Ltd. (BPNNL) in 2015. His passion for research and teaching inspired him to work as an Assistant Professor in KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, for one year and then to join IITB-Monash Research Academy to work on the project “Design load estimation due to Debris flow during Tsunami”, which will address the key aspects like Advanced Computational engineering, Simulation and Manufacture, Infrastructure and Water engineering, under the guidance of Dr. Manas Ranjan Behera (IITB) and Dr. Amin Heidarpour Esfarjani (Monash University). Apart from his studies he has a great interest in swimming and reading.
