Kiran kumari has done her B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from BIT Sindri, Dhanbad in 2014. She has done her M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering with PG-Scholarship from MHRD from IIT(ISM), Dhanbad in 2016. She carried out her M.Tech project in CSIR-NML, Jamshedpur on “Studies on Desulphurisation of Coal of Different Origin”. While in her masters she was highly inclined for higher studies and soon after her M.Tech she joined the IITB-Monash Research Academy for PhD. At the academy she would be working for project titled “Computing the dynamics of Chromatin folding” under the supervision of Prof. Ravi Jagadeeshan (Monash University) and Prof. Ranjith Padinhateeri (IIT Bombay). Her hobbies include playing Badminton.
