Narendra Akiti did his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad (A.P). He then did his M.Tech from IIT Roorkee in Chemical Engineering Department with specialization Computer Aided Process Plant Design. After his post-graduation, he worked as Assistant Professor in Moradabad Institute of Technology, Moradabad. During this teaching period he got the strong desire to do research and decided to pursue Ph.D. Later, he joined in IITB – Monash Research Academy to work on the project “Granule Breakage in a Controlled Shear Shield – Modelling and Experiments” under the guidance of Prof Devang Khakhar (IIT Bombay) and Dr. Karen Hapgood (Monash University). Narendra Akiti is supported by “Prime Minister’s Fellowship scheme for Doctooral Research”, a joint initiative of CII and Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), and Industry Partner P&G.
