Naresh Chandrasekaran did his BTech in Nanotechnology from SRM University, Chennai. During his final year as an undergraduate, he got selected for National Photonics Fellowship funded by Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. During the course of his fellowship, he worked on III-V advanced semiconductor materials (Quantum dots and Quantum wells) and various optoelectronic devices at SAMEER, Mumbai. He was selected for ‘Organic semiconductor based photovoltaic devices’ under the guidance of Prof Dinesh Kabra from IITB and Prof McNeil Christopher from Monash. Apart from research, he is also passionate about photography, badminton and, athletics, in which he plays for various inter-meets.
