I completed my B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from USCT, Delhi in 2016 and my M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering with specialization in Computer Aided Process Plant Design from IIT, Roorkee in 2018. During my internship at ICT, Mumbai (2015), I worked on the topic ‘Enzymatic depolymerisation of carboxymethyl cellulose using ultrasonic and ultraviolet irradiations’. I have also worked on extraction of antioxidants from plant parts of Syzygium Cumini (Jamun) using microfiltration during the final year of B.Tech. As a part of my M.tech. research, I worked on the fabrication of nanocomposite membranes of sulphonated PVdF-co-hfP, titanium oxide and Nafion to be used for application in microbial fuel cells. I would be working on a project titled ‘Chemical Looping Metal Oxide Development and Hydrodynamics’ under the supervision of Prof Santanu Bandhopadhyay (IIT Bombay), Prof Sagar Mitra (IIT Bombay), Prof Andrew Hoadley (Monash University) and Prof Sankar Bhattacharya (Monash University). My interests include sketching and volleyball.
